About The Position

Join Home Instead — A Team of Care Pros Helping Older Adults Age Their Way. At Home Instead, we believe aging should be shaped by the individual, not defined by limitations. We're looking for compassionate Care Pros to provide meaningful, hands-on support that helps older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. The right Care Pro will be confident providing personal care, experienced supporting individuals living with dementia, and willing to take initiative to help clients maintain healthy routines and a high quality of life.

Requirements

Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required
Strong attendance, consistency, and communication are essential

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
Help maintain a consistent daily routine, including regular showering and hair care
Prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals and encourage healthy eating habits
Assist with grocery shopping and household errands
Provide medication reminders and support adherence to daily medication routines
Keep the home clean, organized, and comfortable
Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and routine household tasks
Encourage daily walks, movement, and physical activity
Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
Observe and communicate changes in condition, mood, or behavior
Build trust through patience, consistency, and dependable care
