About The Position

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and highly flexible Caregiver Success Specialist to support our clients and caregiving team throughout Southeast Michigan. This position is designed for an experienced caregiver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is committed to delivering exceptional care while helping ensure continuity of services for our clients. The Caregiver Success Specialist serves as a trusted resource for both clients and caregivers by providing direct care, supporting new client starts, assisting with caregiver transitions, mentoring new team members, and helping maintain the high standards of service CareOne Senior Care is known for.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience required
  • Experience operating Hoyer lifts and performing safe transfers required
  • Valid Michigan Driver's License required
  • Reliable personal transportation required
  • Must maintain current automobile insurance
  • Must provide a clean driving record (DMV/MVR)
  • Must be willing and able to transport clients using either client or caregiver vehicle as directed
  • Must be comfortable working in homes with cats and dogs
  • Must pass criminal background screening
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and transfer clients as required by the care plan
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Nice To Haves

  • Current CNA certification preferred
  • Tube feeding experience preferred
  • Experience caring for seniors and individuals with chronic conditions, dementia, mobility limitations, or disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional personal care and companionship services
  • Assist clients with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Ambulation and transfers, Feeding assistance
  • Assist clients with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), including: Meal preparation, Medication reminders, Light housekeeping, Laundry, Shopping and errands, Transportation to appointments and community activities
  • Assist with new client starts and caregiver introductions
  • Provide coverage for open shifts and urgent staffing needs
  • Support continuity of care during caregiver transitions
  • Mentor and assist newly hired caregivers in the field
  • Serve as a positive ambassador of CareOne Senior Care with clients, families, referral partners, and team members
  • Communicate client concerns, changes in condition, and service opportunities to the office promptly
  • Assist with quality assurance visits and client satisfaction initiatives as requested
  • Must be willing to accept assignments throughout Oakland, Wayne, Livingston, Macomb, and Washtenaw Counties as business needs dictate.
