About the position
Haven Home Care is seeking Private Duty Caregivers in Springfield, Mo and surrounding areas. This position offers both full-time and part-time flexible schedules with immediate availability. Caregivers will assist elderly clients with tasks to help them remain safely and comfortably in their homes, fostering one-on-one relationships that promote independence and support. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, personal care, meal preparation, errands, and companionship duties.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct personal care to clients in their homes.
- Prepares and cleans up after meals.
- Assists with bathing and personal care.
- Performs basic home chores such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Handles laundry tasks.
- Provides companionship to clients.
- Runs errands as needed.
Requirements
- Must love making a difference for someone special.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Must have a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
- Ability to lift 50 LBS.
