About the position
The Caregiver position involves providing personal care and support to a 32-year-old young woman in a respectful and creative home environment. The role emphasizes companionship, guidance, and assistance with daily living activities, ensuring the client's safety and emotional well-being. The position requires adaptability and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, support, and assistance in problem-solving and communication around everyday activities and events.
- Offer companionship during regular activities around the home and community.
- Creatively introduce and facilitate a variety of activities.
- Assist with safety, physical and emotional support, and opportunities for life expansion and daily living skills.
- Administer medication/supplements, meal preparation, personal hygiene, grooming, and chores around the house.
Requirements
- Valid CPR Certification or willingness to become certified.
- Clean DMV record and own car.
- Ability to work in a smoke-free environment.
