About the position
The Home Health Aid/Caregiver position involves providing personal care and support to clients in their homes. The role focuses on meeting clients' physical maintenance and supportive needs through various tasks, including personal care and homemaking. Caregivers will work one-on-one with clients to ensure their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Act as companion
- Assistance with bathing, skincare, hair care, nail care, mouth care
- Assistance with toileting, changing, and dressing
- Handle requests for ambulation, transferring, and exercises
- Assist with bladder and bowel care
- Handle medication reminders
- Provide protective oversight
- Home aid/Homemaking
Requirements
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Discretion and confidentiality
- 1 year of experience as a home health aid/caregiver preferred, will provide necessary training upon hire.
