About the position
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for an elderly client on Sanibel Island. This position involves providing support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life in a safe and comfortable environment. The role is part-time, requiring 9 hours of work per week, with shifts of 3 hours, 3 days a week. Training is provided for those without prior experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Responsibilities
- Assisting with daily activities as needed
- Providing companionship and support
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitoring client's comfort and safety
Requirements
- Level II background screening
- CPR Certificate or Card
- Ability to communicate in English
- Reliable transportation
