Homestead Health Care is seeking dedicated Caregivers to join our Senior Living Facility in Fort Gratiot, MI. This role is essential in providing physical and emotional support to elderly, disabled, or recovering residents, ensuring they receive the best care possible. Responsibilities
- Assisting with care needs, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and incontinence care.
- Administering medications and injections according to physician's orders and maintaining accurate charting.
- Maintaining cleanliness of the environment, which may include light housekeeping.
- Assessing changes in residents' conditions and communicating immediately to the supervisor.
- Completing all required documentation and charting.
- Communicating professionally with families, support services, and coworkers.
- Assisting other team members with their duties.
- Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Able to pass a criminal background check.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience working with the elderly is preferred.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- A positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time for every shift.
