About The Position

PAI is seeking dedicated and compassionate Individualized Home Supports (IHS) Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, helping them maintain independence, improve daily living skills, and engage in meaningful activities, both at home and in the community. PAI has been a vital part of our community since 1990, serving people with developmental disabilities, maximizing integration into the community while pursuing meaningful, person-centered activities. PAI offers a Day Program with a wide array of services and opportunities for adults who want to design a life they love. In addition, we also serve individuals in their home and in the community through our Individualized Home Supports and Respite (IHSR) program. In both programs, you will find a culture that's respectful, team-oriented, and focused on meeting the unique needs of the people we serve. Our mission is to engage individuals in meaningful participation in and connection with the community.

Requirements

High school degree/G.E.D. and be 18 years of age or older.
Pass DHS background study and maintain clearance to provide direct services without continuous supervision.
Reliable vehicle with valid driver's license, proof of car insurance and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

Offer assistance with personal care, including hygiene, meals, and medication management.
Facilitate enjoyable and meaningful activities to ensure individuals remain engaged and active at home and in the community.
Assist individuals in learning and improving skills for independent living, including budgeting, grocery shopping, and meal planning.
Foster companionship and provide emotional support, creating a positive and comfortable atmosphere.
Help with household chores such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
Ensure a safe and secure environment for the individuals you support.
