The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with the established procedures and may be directed by your supervisors.
Responsibilities
Assists with house keeping and laundry services including but not limited to, trash removal and making and changing unoccupied beds.
Assists with all aspects of meal service including but not limited to, transportation of residents to and from dining room, tray delivery, and ensuring great dining experience.
Answers resident call lights promptly.
Ensures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently.
Assists with 1:1 observations as assigned.
Maintains communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse to report any resident changes in condition, concerns, and grievances.
Provides great customer service, companionship, communication and engagement in activities.
Assists clinical staff to make residents comfortable (i.e., check sitting position, hydration passing, etc.).
Assists with personal care responsibilities according to state regulatory guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
