Responsibilities
- Provide specialized medical and surgical care to patients with life-threatening heart conditions.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe and effective patient care independently.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Document nursing processes accurately in appropriate formats.
- Plan and implement patient care based on individual needs and goals.
- Evaluate patient responses to care and adjust plans as necessary.
- Serve as a resource and advocate for patients and families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification required.
- At least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
