Responsibilities

• Join a well-established network of primary care, cardiology, and specialty providers.
• Provide a variety of cardiac surgical procedures including CABG, valve surgeries, and minimally invasive techniques.
• Participate in a call panel for cardiac surgery.
• Utilize Epic electronic health records for patient management.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated mid-level support team for the cardiac surgery program.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Board-eligible or certified with the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
• Proficient in various aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery.
• Commitment to clinical quality, patient safety, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Possess leadership experience and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Nice-to-haves

• Post graduate experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with temporary mechanical support and TAVR procedures.
