About the position

The position is responsible for the performance of all electrocardiography, dynamic-electrocardiography, signal averaged electrocardiography, and exercise tolerance procedures. This includes the calculation of data and the recognition of potential life-threatening cardiac irregularities.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiography procedures
• Conduct dynamic-electrocardiography
• Execute signal averaged electrocardiography
• Administer exercise tolerance procedures
• Calculate data from procedures
• Recognize potential life-threatening cardiac irregularities

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from a recognized program in non-invasive technology or equivalent
• Three (3) months of effective experience
• Eligible for Certified Cardiology Technician exam with Active Certification Status strongly encouraged within two (2) years from employment date
• BLS certification (CPR) required within six (6) months from employment date
