About The Position

This is a Full-time position as a Cardiac - RN working 12-hour day shifts with call, located at our Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla in our brand new tower. We are willing to train an OR RN with a strong background circulating OR surgeries. This role will float to the main OR to cover business needs. Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • One year of RN experience circulating in the Operating Room
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
  • Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • CVOR experience is preferred
  • Trauma experience

Responsibilities
