About The Position

The Car wash Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of Red River Co-op’s car wash equipment. Working closely with our other Car Wash technicians, you’ll gain experience evaluating, diagnosing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

Requirements

• Background in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical Certifications are considered an asset but are not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine inspections and preventive maintenance of car wash equipment.
• Support the diagnosis and troubleshooting of car wash operational issues.
• Respond to support calls and assist with on-site repairs
• Help maintain an inventory of key parts and tools for car wash repairs.
• Assist in logging service calls, repairs, and parts usage to ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Assist in educating Gas Bar Managers and attendants on basic troubleshooting and operational best practices.
• Follow all Nova Star safety procedures and operational standards.
• Take part in general maintenance tasks and projects solicited by Nova Star. This could include servicing equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting general facility maintenance at client sites.
