About the position

The Car Wash Manager at Dave's Express Care Carwash is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the car wash, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with company policies in a fast-paced environment. The manager will lead a team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a clean and organized site.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise employees
  • Ensure adherence and compliance with all established policies, procedures and processes
  • Efficiently multitask in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment
  • Serve as the responsible party for customer, equipment, and employee issues
  • Assist the training supervisor with training new and existing employees on safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
  • Provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action to employees as needed
  • Perform all essential duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptions for all car wash jobs/employees
  • Monitor employees hourly to ensure labor goals are met
  • Work with the rest of the staff to provide excellent customer service
  • Contribute to building a team environment
  • Maintain and upkeep a neat, clean and organized overall site appearance
  • Manage overall vehicle flow and production in the car wash
  • Execute open & close duties and follow designated procedures
  • Understand the POS system and wash tunnel equipment
  • Accept payments and make necessary changes on the cash register
  • Keep records of daily receipts and coupons
  • Prepare and drop off bank deposits
  • Inspect car wash equipment for wear and tear and perform light maintenance

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Leadership skills and a take charge attitude
  • Outstanding people skills
  • Customer focused with a proven background of exceeding customer expectations
  • Energetic and friendly personality
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
  • Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Previous supervisory experience in a customer service industry
  • Proficient with computers and previous POS systems/cashier experience preferred
