About the position

As a Managing Consultant in the Data Driven Transformation Practice at Capgemini Invent, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients in the manufacturing sector enhance their operations through data insights. This position involves both supervisory and hands-on delivery responsibilities, where you will guide clients and engineering teams in the design, implementation, and rollout of innovative technical solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in building and executing strategies that leverage business, process, and machine data to drive transformation.

Responsibilities

• Run energetic workshops with clients to identify pain-points and solution paths.
• Define and own solution approaches and technical designs.
• Lead small teams of technical experts and engineers to build technical solutions.
• Build components of technical solutions independently, such as ML models and anomaly detection algorithms.
• Cultivate opportunities for improvement and grow the business within your space.
• Promote program, solution, and team success internally and at the client.
• Contribute to and drive AI/Analytics deals to grow the team.
• Build client trust and manage project risks.

Requirements

• Great understanding of manufacturing and maintenance operations processes and best practices.
• Experience in Industry 4.0 initiatives and transformations.
• Knowledge in digital signal processing, statistical process control, and machine learning.
• Experience with data acquisition, distribution, processing, and visualization technologies in manufacturing.
• Ability to explain complex subjects clearly to both technical and business experts.
• Experience in identifying opportunities for improvement and defining use cases.
• Agile knowledge and expertise in Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with AI/Analytics tools landscape (e.g., Palantir, C3.AI, AWS).
• Experience in delivering AI/Analytics use cases.
• Strong familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts such as IoT and predictive maintenance.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, JAVA, C++, C, MATLAB.
• Knowledge of Data Standards and Manufacturing Standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in process mapping and identifying system/process weaknesses.
• Engineering Degree, M.S. or MBA with STEM background.
