The Canvassing Team Lead Assistant at Maverick Windows is a full-time role focused on engaging homeowners about energy-efficient window replacement products. This position involves coaching and mentoring canvassers, facilitating communication between the canvassing team and the sales team, and generating leads through direct interaction with potential customers. The role requires a proactive approach to customer relationship building and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor canvassers on the team to ensure their success.
• Engage in door-to-door customer relationship building to promote Maverick Windows products.
• Attend events such as trade shows and retail marketing events to represent the company.
• Cover assigned territory during scheduled shifts to maximize outreach.
• Acquire customer contact information for product demonstrations and generate additional leads by asking for referrals.
• Report daily results to field management and perform other duties as assigned by the Canvassing Lead Manager.

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with homeowners.
• A background or interest in sales to promote products and services.
• Ability to provide information on a range of products and services offered by the company.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work outside in varying climates and conditions.
• Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.
• Physical stamina to be on feet and walk for long periods.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in door-to-door sales or canvassing.
• Previous team lead experience in a similar role.
