The specialist provides superior telephone customer service for patients seeking access or assistance, which may include rotation through Call Cloud. They verify all patient demographic and insurance information, answer incoming phone calls professionally and knowledgeably about Union Community Care access and services, and fully understand the Sliding Fee Discount Policy and Procedures, offering this discount to all patients. Additionally, the specialist monitors the Solution Reach appointment communication platform, cancels, schedules, and changes appointments as requested by patients, connects with care teams for first call resolutions, creates patient cases when needed, attends site meetings, and performs other work-related duties as assigned.
