About the position

The position involves providing quality customer service and working towards the generation, promotion, and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank. The role requires maintaining a positive attitude and providing team support, supervising and supporting co-workers while delivering telephone customer service, and assisting management in improving departmental operations. The candidate will be responsible for answering telephone calls from customers and the public in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner, as well as handling difficult calls referred from co-workers. Additionally, the role includes assisting customers with problems and questions concerning their accounts, loans, and internet banking.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service and work towards the generation, promotion, and maintenance of a quality work environment.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support.
  • Supervise and support co-workers while providing telephone customer service.
  • Provide support to management and work continually to improve the department.
  • Answer telephone calls from customers and the public in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Handle difficult calls as referred from co-workers.
  • Assist customers with problems and questions concerning their accounts, loans, and internet banking.

Requirements

  • A high school education is required.
  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a professional attitude towards customers and co-workers.
  • Ability to supervise co-workers while maintaining a positive attitude and providing team support.
  • Ability to make quick decisions is a must.
