Responsibilities
- Support the bakery by stocking the case with fresh, high-quality products.
- Prepare a variety of cakes, desserts, and pastries at a high rate of speed.
- Mix creams, sauces, fillings, and icings for cake decoration.
- Apply finishing work to cakes to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Take guest orders by phone and in-person.
- Assist bakers and bakery clerks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and attractive work environment.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- An eye for color, texture, and design with attention to detail.
- Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks.
- Basic understanding of the English language, including the ability to communicate, read, and write basic instructions.
