About the position
The Cage Supervisor at The Nash Casino is responsible for overseeing the Cage operations in the absence of the Cage Manager. This role involves ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, providing excellent guest service, and maintaining effective communication within the team. The Cage Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the Cage Manager and ensuring a positive experience for guests while managing the workflow and operations of the Cage.
Responsibilities
- Communicates operational information and updates to keep Cage management informed.
- Reads internal memos and conducts Team Member huddles as requested by the Cage Manager.
- Ensures proper opening, closing, and balancing of Cage assets, reporting any issues to the Cage Manager.
- Conducts transaction verifications to avoid discrepancies and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Recommends procedural changes and assists in communicating updates to Team Members.
- Addresses equipment malfunctions and reports discrepancies to management.
- Possesses knowledge of cage equipment operation and assists Team Members as needed.
- Contacts Human Resources for compliance with appearance standards in the absence of the Cage Manager.
- Reports infractions of appearance standards to management.
- Ensures compliance with key control standards while on duty.
- Provides training to other Team Members as requested by management.
- Executes the shift schedule as provided by the Cage Manager.
- Reports any infractions of company policies to management immediately.
- Delivers excellent service to internal guests, anticipating their needs and preferences.
- Maintains professionalism and a friendly demeanor throughout the workday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 - 3 years of related experience required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
