About the position

As a Café Ambassador at Capital One, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for café goers and customers. This position focuses on connecting with the community, promoting financial literacy, and driving brand awareness through exceptional customer service. You will work in a supportive team environment that encourages personal and professional growth, making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities

  • Bring the Café experience and our brand to life by helping to create an inclusive environment where all customers and team members feel welcome
  • Proactively engage with customers and the community in all areas of the Café
  • Guide customers through goal setting by advocating for better financial literacy
  • Be a team player and work with an energized team of Ambassadors
  • Stay curious, adaptable and have a desire to learn and grow through self development
  • Continually learn new digital and technical skills
  • Partner with local businesses, nonprofits, charities, and the Engagement team to plan events
  • Volunteer within the community and be an advocate for financial literacy

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree
  • 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
  • Proficient in G-Suite
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
