About the position

The CAD Designer position at Acloche LLC is an entry-level role focused on creating various types of signs, including traditional and digital designs. The designer will work with multiple technologies and collaborate with different departments to ensure the production of high-quality visual communications.

Responsibilities

• Generate a Bill of Materials
• Collaborate with Purchasing about available materials
• Order items from internal/external sources when needed
• Create Cut Files for Router/CNC Equipment using Corel Draw/AutoCAD
• Custom detailing using channel letter design, Doorskin and others
• Design CAD drawings/artwork for the production floor
• Send finished documents to Scheduling for release
• Create/follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Produce/understand electrical layouts
• Gain knowledge of all production machines
• Program all machines when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Entry-level position with a willingness to learn
• Familiarity with CAD software such as Corel Draw and AutoCAD
• Basic understanding of sign design and production processes
• Ability to collaborate with team members and other departments
