About The Position

As a Cable Technician for L.A. Hydro Jet & Rooter Services for the Day Shift in the South Bay Los Angeles area, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and fixtures of water and drainage sewage systems.

Requirements

• 2 years of service and repair plumbing experience REQUIRED (residential or commercial).
• Basic mechanical knowledge is needed.
• Available During Training on Wednesdays for instruction in the Sun Valley office.
• Available After Training on Wednesdays for check-in at the Sun Valley office.
• Is consistently at work and on time.

Responsibilities

• Clears blocked plumbing lines in commercial and residential buildings.
• Provide drain cleaning services for grease lines, urinals, difficult access lines, back-to-back lines, damaged lines, ejector pumps, and sump pumps.
• Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
• Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
• Repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sink pipes, commodes, and garbage disposal unit pop-up assemblies and waste and overflows.
