About The Position

Experienced Cabinet Finisher needed for a hands-on shop environment where quality craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement are part of the culture. This role involves spraying premium custom cabinetry and woodworking projects. There is a long-term growth potential into a team lead position within a tight-knit team where every person plays an important role in the final product. The position offers hands-on variety, including finishing, final assembly support, quality control, and shop collaboration, within a values-driven culture rooted in faith, stewardship, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of cabinetry finishing experience
  • Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Comfortable working on their feet throughout the day while bending, kneeling, and moving materials as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with finish mixing is preferred but not required.
  • Takes pride in producing clean, consistent finishes with strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Works confidently on-site while communicating well and supporting overall shop production goals.
  • Appreciates a culture built on faith, stewardship, continuous improvement, and serving others well.

Responsibilities

  • Spray finish custom cabinetry and woodworking projects to DMM's quality standards.
  • Assist with final assembly and support the hardware area as needed.
  • Order, track, & maintain finishing supplies and inventory levels.
  • Maintain finishing equipment, pumps, and spray systems to keep production running efficiently.
  • Coordinate with the Shop Foreman to stay ahead of production schedules and finishing priorities.
  • Keep the finish room clean, organized, stocked, and production-ready.
  • Inspect completed products for quality and communicate issues to the shop team promptly and constructively.
  • Learn Lean Manufacturing principles to improve workflow and efficiency.
