About the position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient-centered care while supporting the management and operation of the pharmacy. Your responsibilities will include ensuring patient safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service, while also leading and developing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff. Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Manage and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations including patient safety, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments to maximize strengths and address development opportunities.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Implement solutions effectively to achieve specified goals and adapt to changes in the healthcare environment.
• Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride among colleagues.
• Apply knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
