About The Position

Reporting to the Associate Director for SAP S/4HANA Global Operations, you will lead the transformation of the Logistics stream in the Plan-to-Sustain (P2S) workstream through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA for P&W Canada. Leveraging your significant experience in logistics and supply chain management (including warehousing, transportation and customs), you will drive the design and deployment of new end-to-end logistics processes and data to seamlessly integrated with our new SAP S/4HANA environment. Your practical expertise in logistics operations and ERP systems will be essential in identifying and implementing strategic improvements and tangible operational efficiencies. You will ensure that our global logistics operations align with industry best practices and actively support our organizational objectives. This role serves as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, translating complex business requirements into actionable tasks while maintaining focus on user experience and technical feasibility. It demands strategic thought leadership to help bring about true transformation. RTX launched oneRTX program to leverage the scale of our three business units (Raytheon, Collins and Pratt & Whitney) to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity, and performance for all. The oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) project is one of several major, multi-year initiatives under oneRTX that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, how we operate and how we deliver to our customers so that we can achieve our full potential. The intent of oneRTX: PST is to harmonize processes, tools, and metrics across P&W and RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform – SAP’s S/4 HANA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in logistics operations and/or supply chain.
  • Significant and progressive experience in roles related to logistics and supply chain management.
  • Practical and in-depth experience in the design, optimization, and implementation of logistics processes.
  • Successful experience in leading transformation projects involving logistics processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4HANA, and understanding of their application to logistics functions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills, with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders at various levels.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to translate business needs into effective ERP solutions.
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Occasional travel required (approximately 10-25%).

Responsibilities

  • Act as the business process owner for the logistics capabilities in SAP S/4HANA and its boundary systems.
  • Act as the voice of the internal customer, ensuring requirements and delivered features meet user needs and expectations.
  • Managing the functional and data requirements (user stories) backlog, including creating, prioritizing, and refining user stories and acceptance criteria, as per agile development methodology.
  • Represent P&WC interests at the P&W and RTX table when decisions are being taken regarding product design.
  • Making critical decisions on functional and data prioritization based on business value, technical complexity, and customer feedback.
  • Participating in program planning, process workshops, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews.
  • Supporting functional and process harmonization, test, conversion and deployment activities.
  • Supporting the harmonization, cleansing, test and migration activities.
  • Supporting training and organizational change management activities.
  • Actively participate in the Data Readiness initiative by supporting the Data Readiness Lead in all activities related to Data Objects, including data quality analysis and auditing, profiling, cleansing, migration, validation, and monitoring data integrity to ensure a smooth transition to the SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to improve workflows while integrating business and industry best practices to meet the specific needs of P&WC, while promoting harmonization with other RTX entities.
  • Identify and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), across different topics.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and collaborate with SMEs, Digital Technology (DT) experts, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with PST project and organizational goals.
  • Support the timely completion of project milestones while adapting to, and working in, a constantly evolving environment.
  • Ensure key P&WC business stakeholder engagement and alignment within the overall PW view via structured approval gates, regular presentations and ad hoc reviews.
  • Exercise political acumen to effectively navigating the ecosystem / interdependencies across the organisations and systems.
  • Act as a positive change agent and take a pro-active roll in driving transformation with stakeholders and SMEs.
  • Support the definition and rollout of the change management activities to ensure smooth transition to the future state.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and oneRTX peers and leadership, including being able to present status, benefits, and implications of the transformation project on the business teams.
  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Help pro-actively anticipate potential ERP-related business and project risks and propose and implement mitigation solutions.
  • Monitor potential risks and develop mitigation plans to maintain project quality and timelines.
