The Business Tax Advisor at Intuit is a customer-facing role focused on providing expert guidance and tax preparation services for complex business tax returns, specifically for Partnerships and S Corporations. The position requires a strong understanding of federal and state tax laws, along with the ability to communicate technical tax concepts to customers effectively. This role also involves contributing to the development of new product offerings while working in a fast-paced virtual environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance and tax preparation for complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations.
- Explain tax and technical terms to customers in an understandable manner.
- Manage customer inquiries related to tax advice, return preparation, and product/software questions.
- Utilize video communications software to interact with customers effectively.
- Contribute to shaping the direction of new product offerings.
Requirements
- 3+ years of business tax preparation experience.
- Active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney).
- Minimum 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience.
- Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation.
- Proficient with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
