About The Position

This role is for a Business Solutions Analyst with Atlassian Administrator responsibilities, for a 2-year base term. The ability to work onsite in the Sacramento, CA area is preferred.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience applying analytical processes on IT projects.
  • At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
  • Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience performing business analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and supporting the design and implementation of business solutions.
  • At least two (2) years of that experience must have been in a lead or consultative capacity, guiding process improvement initiatives and aligning business needs with solution strategies.
  • Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience supporting IT solution development, including conducting business and technical gap analyses, contributing to transition planning toward target-state architectures, and aligning business needs with IT capabilities.
  • At least two (2) years of that experience must have involved collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to define or support enterprise policies related to privacy, security, development standards, and IT governance.
  • Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience in technical writing within an IT environment, including documenting current (“as is”) and future-state (“to-be”) enterprise architecture.
  • Four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience as an administrative-level user of Atlassian tools, including but not limited to Jira Align, Jira Software, and Confluence.
  • Experience must include configuring workflows, managing user permissions, customizing dashboards and reports, and supporting teams in leveraging Atlassian tools to improve collaboration, transparency, and delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Applying analytical processes on IT projects.
  • Performing business analysis, including gathering and documenting requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and supporting the design and implementation of business solutions.
  • Supporting IT solution development, including conducting business and technical gap analyses, contributing to transition planning toward target-state architectures, and aligning business needs with IT capabilities.
  • Collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders to define or support enterprise policies related to privacy, security, development standards, and IT governance.
  • Technical writing within an IT environment, including documenting current (“as is”) and future-state (“to-be”) enterprise architecture. Experience must include capturing business units, key processes, and applying various modeling techniques to support solution planning, stakeholder communication, and organizational change initiatives.
  • Acting as an administrative-level user of Atlassian tools, including but not limited to Jira Align, Jira Software, and Confluence. Experience must include configuring workflows, managing user permissions, customizing dashboards and reports, and supporting teams in leveraging Atlassian tools to improve collaboration, transparency, and delivery outcomes.
