About the position
The Business Process Consultant will work onsite in Tallahassee, FL, focusing on IT business analysis and process improvement for the Florida PALM project. This role requires extensive experience in IT business processes, particularly in governmental settings, and involves facilitating meetings, preparing deliverables, and ensuring stakeholder communication throughout the project duration.
Responsibilities
- Prepare deliverables identified by the Client's Contract Manager, within the timeframe specified.
- Communicate relevant information to project teams and stakeholders promptly.
- Facilitate meetings throughout the term of the contract.
- Address project team conflict and communication problems proactively.
- Review required documentation evidencing the deliverable for completeness and correctness before submitting it to the Project Team and Stakeholders.
- Obtain acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Contract Manager and appropriate Stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT business/industry work experience
- 7+ years as an IT Business Analyst
- Experience with Florida PALM project
- Experience with FLAIR data
- Proficient in Microsoft Visio for creating process model diagrams
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in conducting meetings with individuals and groups to discuss business processes
- Experience with Joint Application Development (JAD) techniques
- Experience in business process re-engineering
- Experience in deriving business process and data requirements from analyzing process and system documentation
- Experience translating information from meetings and written materials into process models and process flow models
- Experience creating a data dictionary.
