About the position

The IT Business Partner - Solutions Manager at Panasonic is responsible for coordinating activities that support the sales companies by developing IT-based solutions that integrate with Panasonic's business products. This role involves building relationships with business unit executives, ensuring alignment of IT services with business needs, and managing the implementation of IT solutions, particularly in cloud-based technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain consultative relationships with business unit executives and management.
• Support the business unit requirements for developing sellable product solutions.
• Ensure alignment of IT services with business unit needs and priorities.
• Represent and communicate PNA IT's capability to the business unit.
• Act as the primary interface within PNA IT for business unit solution projects.
• Coordinate and facilitate communications with appropriate PNA and business unit management.
• Manage multiple activities across various business units.
• Communicate customer initiatives within PNA IT and to customer management.
• Develop proposals for implementing IT services aligned with customer product solution needs.
• Plan, initiate, and coordinate business unit requests for IT solutions.
• Work closely with business unit management and product managers to develop solution requirements.
• Manage the IT solution implementation process and provide project oversight.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science is required; Computer Engineering is desired.
• 5 years of IT experience with a focus on IT solutions, preferably cloud-based technologies.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience developing IT solutions, design, and implementations.
• Experience in a broad scope of IT technologies including Cloud-based solutions (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
• Program Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired.
• Six Sigma certification desired.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with financial budgets related to IT solution design.
