About the position

The position involves working closely with a diverse community of researchers and management to understand and capture business needs, workflows, and the value they bring. The role includes participating in global outreach and collaboration initiatives that support a dynamic research community. Responsibilities also encompass documenting business process workflows, creating diagrams for communication, and supporting global stakeholder management processes. The individual will engage with business owners, users, and service providers to assess and plan for lifecycle improvements, expansions, or transitions of existing solutions. Additionally, the role requires providing input and data for planning, prioritization, and budgeting of IT projects, as well as communicating strategies and goals to senior management. The position also involves coordinating and creating product/service documentation and training, as well as participating in the creation of foundational service design documentation and special projects as required.

Responsibilities

  • Work effectively with the diverse community of researchers and management to capture business need, workflow, and value
  • Participate in global outreach, collaboration initiatives, and projects supporting a diverse and dynamic research community at Client
  • Document business process workflow and create diagrams to support and communicate
  • Support global stakeholder management processes including communication
  • Engage with business owners, users, and service providers of existing solutions to aid in assessment and planning for lifecycle, improvement, expansion, or transition processes
  • Provide input and data in support of planning, prioritization, and budget process for IT projects
  • Support communication of strategies, ideas, and goals to senior management
  • Participate in the coordination and creation of product/service documentation and training
  • Participate in the creation of foundational service design documentation
  • Special projects as required

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Business Analysis experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in the scientific environment, especially one that is related to drug development is preferred
  • Practical experience understanding, collecting, and documenting requirements and use cases
  • Proven success enabling customer success through thoughtful analysis and communication
