About the position

As a Business Intelligence Analyst at HealthPlanOne, you will be instrumental in optimizing operations and facilitating data-driven decisions within the Medicare insurance sector. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze and interpret data, ultimately driving strategic initiatives and enhancing overall performance.

Responsibilities

• Utilize tools like Domo and Snowflake to gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights into business operations.
• Create and maintain data products using Domo to track key performance indicators and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and translate those into actionable projects.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security by implementing data governance best practices.
• Develop data models and schemas in conjunction with Data Engineers to support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, analytical marketing, information systems, finance or a related degree.
• 3 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools (like Domo or Tableau).
• Advanced Excel expertise (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, report filters, etc.).
• Proficiency with database systems such as SQL or Snowflake.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with employees across the company at all levels.

• Practical experience or coursework in mathematics, business, analytical marketing, information systems, programming/databases, statistics/statistical modeling, finance, economics, or physics.
