About the position

The position is within TikTok's U.S. Data Security (USDS) division, specifically in the Trust and Safety Operations team. This role focuses on enhancing the security and trustworthiness of the TikTok platform by overseeing content moderation and ensuring compliance with community guidelines. The individual will lead business reviews, develop analytical tools, and support operational excellence in content moderation, all while managing the emotional demands of the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the weekly business review (WBR) process for the Safety Operations team, including executive level presentations and performance meetings.
• Develop and maintain scalable, automated dashboards and reports that benchmark and track progress against key operational performance goals and initiatives.
• Work with management and/or internal stakeholders to define business requirements and analytical needs and execute against them.
• Support demand forecasting and modeling capabilities related to how fast we should be growing our expenses and our investment in our moderation workforce.
• Conduct data mining, regression analysis and other quantitative analysis using industry standard statistical and business analytics techniques.
• Create and maintain data documentation for both internal technical audiences and partner user teams.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets and hands-on experience in SQL.
• Experience working with Business Insights tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.
• Experience in data science programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
• Strong communication, presentation & documentation skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity; able to thrive with minimal oversight and process.

Nice-to-haves

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related subjects is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in management, business process improvement, or analytical roles in content moderation or similar fields.
• Ability to work in a high tempo environment and adapt to day-to-day challenges.
