We are Divergys, an established but growing Managed Services Provider with our primary offices located in Humble, Texas. We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Business Development Specialist to join our team. This role is a base salary plus commission role with benefits including items like health, vision, dental and life insurance, 401k with matching, PTO and more. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new Managed IT Services clients and driving business development initiatives, utilizing your sales experience, professionalism and competitive energy. This person's primary focus is to promote and sell our comprehensive Managed IT Services solutions to potential clients. As a Business Development Specialist, you will drive sales activity by generating daily sales through various channels including networking events, referrals, and targeted marketing campaigns. You will be expected to consistently meet or exceed sales targets by securing new clients. Engaging with prospects is a key part of your role, where you will conduct meetings to understand their needs, identify sales opportunities, and present tailored IT solutions. Collaboration with our technical team is essential to determine and propose effective IT and cybersecurity solutions. Additionally, you will educate and inform prospects about the importance of cybersecurity and how our solutions can protect their business against evolving threats.
