This is a prospecting role where you will spend most of your day on the phone and in your inbox, reaching out to businesses that ship freight to convince them to take a meeting. Success in this role requires drive, strong communication skills, and the ability to persevere through rejection without losing momentum. The goal is to book qualified meetings for the sales team through daily outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualifying leads, identifying businesses with shipping needs, booking meetings for Business Development Managers, tracking pipeline in the CRM, and learning the BlueShip platform. Daily and weekly activity targets must be met, as volume is important.
