About the position

This role will funnel the leads to a sales representative to further qualify and close the sale. This position is purely a lead generation role with our new Donnelley Solutions Group (DSG) and will not be responsible for further steps in the sales cycle, but there will be room for growth if the desire is expand further.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage proven prospecting techniques to initiate contact with prospective new clients in financial services, insurance, utilities, mortgage and retirement services.
  • Generate interest in a discovery meeting with an established RRD Sales Executive.
  • Identify multiple contact points within a supplied list of targets and position the value proposition of our products and services to entice the prospect to learn more about RRD through a discovery meeting.
  • Conduct online research to better understand the prospect and contact points business objectives to better position RRD services.
  • Generate a high-value sales pipeline through both strategic and targeted prospecting for Healthcare accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop a list of target prospects.
  • Develop and run a pipeline of prospects and provide top-class customer experience.
  • Effectively & smoothly transition a lead to an account executive following the first discovery meeting.
  • Actively utilize Salesforce for all activities related to Lead Generation.
  • Meet with Sales Leaders to evaluate strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Communication, or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and telemarketing with an emphasis on cold calling.
  • Experience with commercial print or direct mail printing products is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple tasks in an efficient manner.
  • Must be goal-oriented, persuasive, self-motivated, and an independent worker.
  • Experience with cold calling techniques and the use of Salesforce CRM technology to organize, track, and document activity.
  • Candidates must be comfortable using multiple techniques and channels for reaching their contact points including but not limited to email, phone, social media, mail, etc.
  • Ability to position different RRD services to the different contact points within the same prospect account.
