About the position

Bob W is a fast-growing aparthotel brand company providing an authentic 5-star experience to every single guest at scale while leading the world's transition to sustainable hospitality. Bob's apartments cater to the 21st-century traveller who wants it all: the consistent quality of a hotel and the authentic flair of a short-stay rental. We combine the best of both worlds in our climate-neutral apartments in the coolest neighbourhoods across Europe. As we expand, fuelled by venture capital and investment from top-tier real estate equity firms, we are building the technology to give every guest a local, five-star experience at scale. As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving Bob W's success in Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) by prospecting, securing, and managing corporate accounts. As an integral part of our growing B2B team, you'll bring a wealth of sales experience, a strong network of travel buyers in Scandinavia, and the expertise to position Bob W as the go-to accommodations provider in the region. You're a self-starter with a proactive approach to building and nurturing relationships, combining strategy with execution to deliver profitable revenue and foster brand loyalty. As a key member of our Growth organisation, you'll join an international team of customer acquisition and revenue management experts. Embracing a growth hacking mindset, we leverage traditional hotel customer acquisition tools while constantly testing, innovating, and thinking outside the box.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the whole business development cycle. Cold contacting is one of your secret weapons.
  • Ensure skyrocketing growth in direct B2B bookings.
  • Build long-term partnerships with the local start-up community and find ways to enter the 'corporate' market.
  • Establish a 'hidden' sales network by creating non-ordering collaboration relationships with local partners: restaurants, cafes, gyms, co-working spaces, etc.
  • Collaborate heavily with the Growth, Operations, Finance, and Product teams to make data-driven decisions and execute them successfully.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.

Requirements

  • A self-starter attitude: ambitious, results-driven, and relentless in identifying target leads, reaching out, and successfully generating and closing deals from cold leads.
  • 3+ years of proven success in Sales or Business Development in a B2B environment, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Fluent Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian language skills, with an excellent command of English.
  • Proficiency in using a CRM (experience with Pipedrive is a plus).
  • Experience in onboarding and managing accounts.
  • Strong organizational and process-driven skills, with a solid understanding of B2B sales techniques.
  • Willingness to travel frequently between Scandinavian countries.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Travel, Lodging, TMC, or Group Booking ecosystem (preferred).
