As a Business Development Coordinator at our software engineering company, you will be integral to our growth efforts aimed at expanding the exceptional services we provide to the Federal Government. This role is crucial as you will collaborate closely with our team of technical subject matter experts to create high-quality content that accurately reflects our capabilities and experience. The position is hybrid, requiring you to work from our Tysons Corner office two days a week, allowing for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility. In this position, you will actively coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process for federal IT and digital transformation opportunities, which includes responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs). You will be responsible for gathering relevant artifacts, project data, and other proposal components from technical teams, ensuring that the proposals are compelling and effectively convey our capabilities and solutions. Your responsibilities will include creating outlines and compliance matrixes for proposals, serving as the volume lead to ensure proposal quality, compliance, and timely submission. You will also schedule and facilitate proposal kickoff meetings, color team reviews, and other critical proposal events, while maintaining proposal calendars and project plans to ensure adherence to deadlines. Collaboration with subject matter experts, capture managers, and leadership will be essential to align strategies and ensure that proposals meet federal regulations, guidelines, and customer requirements. Additionally, you will monitor government procurement sources to identify RFI/RFQ/RFP opportunities that align with our capabilities and support growth-related activities such as attending industry events and networking opportunities.
