Business Development Connector

About the position

FOX21 News & SOCO CW are looking for a Business Development Connector who isn't afraid to make the call. Literally. We're growing and need someone who thrives on cold calls, books high-quality appointments for our Account Executives, and knows how to blend business with banter. You'll be the first point of contact with future advertisers - and your mission is to open the door with confidence, clarity, and a killer value pitch.

Responsibilities

• Cold call prospective businesses and book appointments for our Account Executives
• Use Valid Business Reasons to start conversations that matter
• Build quick rapport - no scripts, just real talk
• Track outreach and follow-ups in our CRM system
• Manage our CRM system for AE Activities
• Work closely with the sales team to align strategies and refine messaging

Requirements

• Zero fear of rejection - actually, you kind of like the challenge
• A conversational, confident phone presence - you keep it light, fun, and engaging
• Excellent communication skills and a sharp ear for opportunity
• Proven ability to hit performance goals
• Sales, appointment setting, or call center experience is a big plus, but not required if you've got the grit and grind
