About the position
The Business Analyst I at Care Synergy is responsible for supporting the organization and its affiliate agencies in the effective utilization of software applications. This role involves a variety of systems analysis, administration, and support tasks, including analyzing, documenting, testing, troubleshooting, and creating reports and queries. The Business Analyst will facilitate business process development sessions, provide support during operational audits, and collaborate with various departments to enhance clinical and administrative processes.
Responsibilities
- Support Care Synergy and affiliate agencies in software application utilization.
- Perform systems analysis, administration, and support tasks including documentation and troubleshooting.
- Facilitate business process development sessions as a Subject Matter Expert in clinical and EMR-related items.
- Administer and troubleshoot Enterprise Applications including EMR and Accounting systems.
- Provide support during operational and clinical audits and surveys.
- Plan, develop, document, and maintain custom database applications and reports using SQL, SSRS, and PowerBI.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Administrative staff for process changes.
- Conduct process mapping and application configuration to support process changes.
- Provide EMR Orientation training to new and existing employees.
- Evaluate new and existing software solutions and provide recommendations.
- Participate in new Enterprise Application implementations including configuration and training.
- Provide Tier 2 support for affiliate staff and participate in on-call rotation.
- Assist Project Manager in enterprise implementations and project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Analytics, or Clinical Discipline.
- Three (3) years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, SQL, and SSRS.
- Knowledge of hospice and home health care systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a clinical/healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with clinical information systems and data visualization.
