About the position
GDIT is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to work in a dynamic agile team environment, focusing on managing requirements for both on-premise and Cloud data warehouses at CMS. The role involves soliciting, defining, and managing project requirements, creating and maintaining project-related artifacts, and interacting with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Solicit, define, and manage requirements and scope for CMS projects
- Create, maintain, and support the distribution of project-related artifacts including requirement documents, user stories, and operations manuals
- Prepare in-depth flow charts, models, and procedures along with conducting feasibility studies
- Collect and analyze information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders including business owners and developers
- Work closely with the test team to ensure requirements are implemented and tested
- Create and present presentations to clients and stakeholders
- Perform analysis and assist with systems designs as needed
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience in a CMS environment
- Experience soliciting and defining business and system requirements
- Experience working with a business analyst team in a complex environment

- Ability to query databases using SQL or similar languages
