About the position

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager with a strong analytical mindset and a background in engineering to lead projects and drive business process improvements. The ideal candidate will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves to take on various project tasks directly as needed. You will join the Group Real Estate engineering team and work closely with cross-functional teams to support business processes and applications that improve our organization's efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Engage stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Analyze complex business processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to support decision-making and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Facilitate business process modeling and document current and future state processes.
  • Collaborate with IT, engineering and other departments to ensure that the technical implementation aligns with business objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end project management from initiation through planning, execution and closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management and stakeholder communication strategies.
  • Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques ensuring project goals are met and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Track and report on project progress, status updates, and deliverables to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), business, computer science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis and project management.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable project plans and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI) to support business analysis and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience working on projects involving software development, systems integration, or process automation.
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
