About the position

The Business Analyst in Product Operations at Visa plays a crucial role within the Acceptance Solutions Professional Services team. This position involves collaborating with global and cross-functional teams to enhance decision-making and improve processes through data analysis and metrics. The analyst will develop dashboards, create presentations, and provide insights to optimize client services and operational efficiencies, while also supporting senior leaders in executive communications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau dashboards reporting out metrics.
  • Create client-specific presentations addressing executive needs and deliver presentations to internal and external partners as needed.
  • Leverage metrics, data analysis, and financial models to measure performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct detailed analysis on client data to identify preliminary trends and themes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and tools by identifying gaps and implementing solutions.
  • Develop and manage content to support clients, including process mapping, documentation, and reporting.
  • Support senior leaders in the development of materials for executive readouts and business reviews.
  • Act as an expert in data analysis while maintaining a strategic perspective.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
  • Intermediate to senior Excel skills, including the ability to create formulas and macros.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, economics, hard sciences, or a similar field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization.
  • Outstanding analytical skills to interpret large data sets and articulate findings succinctly.
  • Extensive knowledge of dashboards and reporting tools, particularly Tableau.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
