About The Position

Under supervision of the Customer Services and Systems Manager, this position is responsible for the compilation and analysis of data. The intern will perform technical and professional work in conducting various business analyses and forming recommendations on actions related to data cleanup or confirmation. This role involves coordinating various tasks with other District staff and performing other related work as required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, with a strong interest in data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information and findings in a clear, concise, and visually effective manner.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
• Resume must be included with application materials.

Responsibilities

• Conducts research, data analysis, and forms recommendations for operational and administrative programs.
• Performs and manages data collection, compilation, coordination, and organization.
• Conducts data evaluation, data analysis, and database development and maintenance.
• Uses an on-line computer system to enter and research customer information, prepare reports and analytical information, create or update master customer account files, and related meter records; creates work orders for field personnel.
• Performs other related work as required.
