About the position

Camping World is looking for a Business Analyst intern for the summer of 2025. As an intern, you will assist with the daily operations and gain first-hand experience. We are looking for someone who is driven, has experience in business and process analysis, information technology, system diagraming, technical documentation software applications and/or technology solutions, and wants to be immersed in a real-world experience. If you are eager to learn, have a strong interest and want to further develop yourself as a professional; this is the ideal role for you. Candidates must have the ability to work in our Chicago or Lincolnshire office on a hybrid basis (3 days in office, 2 days remote) for 10 weeks, beginning in June of 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with business and technical stakeholders to gather and clarify missing information.
  • Develop and enhance various documentation, including business process flows, system interconnections, and data flow diagrams.
  • Input and maintain critical information in the system of record, such as application details, technology decisions, waivers, exceptions, and technical debt records.
  • Support the creation and refinement of Enterprise Standards by improving documentation style and structure.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Graduation date between December 2025 and July 2027.
  • Ability to relocate to Chicago for the internship. (Note: Relocation or housing stipends are not provided.)
  • Strong knowledge of information technology concepts, including systems integration, security, data architecture, and data flow.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Loop, Lists, SharePoint, and Power BI.
  • Experience with diagramming and mind-mapping tools like MS Visio, Draw.io, PlantUML, Lucidchart, Figma, Mural, XMind, MindJet MindManager, Freeplane, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with software or web development is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a passion for data analytics.
  • Excellent technical aptitude and data interpretation skills.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Engage in the Capstone Internship Project, culminating in a final presentation to the Executive Leadership team.
