About the position

CSC is seeking a creative, inquisitive, and detail-oriented student to join the Global Financial Markets team. The CSC GFM team supports alternative asset managers across a range of fund strategies, capital markets participants in both public and private markets, and corporations and institutions requiring fiduciary and governance support. Responsibilities

  • Witness firsthand how ideas evolve into functional products, interacting with developers, designers, and user researchers.
  • Understand the Agile development methodology and its impact on product iterations and decision-making.
  • See how user feedback drives product strategy and experience enhancement.
  • Master the art of gathering and analyzing requirements, ensuring project goals align with user needs.
  • Document processes, workflows, and user stories with clarity and precision.
  • Gain experience in data analysis and visualization to inform critical product decisions.
  • Hone communication skills to present findings, recommendations, and solutions effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the product team, fostering open communication and problem-solving.
  • Develop active listening skills to gather user feedback and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies shaping the software landscape.
  • Gain insights into different software development methodologies and tools.
  • Contribute to meaningful projects with real-world impact.
  • Understand CSC Line of business and opportunity to know more about CSC culture.
  • Gain experience in Open AI, Python, Document Intelligence experience along with Agile development process.
  • Understand the landscape and architecture of CSC's Automation Platform.

Requirements

  • Currently attending college, university, or a similar training program.
  • Graduating or ready for full-time employment within 12 months of August 2025.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information.
  • Proficiency in basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
  • Passion for technology and understanding of the software development life cycle (a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with Scrum, user testing, or financial service experience is desired but not required.
  • An inquisitive nature.
  • Enthusiasm and a desire to grow.
  • Honesty and a willingness to learn.
