About the position

The Business Analyst II - Sales Operations at Blue Cross of Idaho plays a crucial role in identifying and analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and defining the scope and objectives for applications that integrate with business processes and IT infrastructure. This position supports the Sales Operations team and offers a hybrid work environment after an initial onsite training period in Meridian, Idaho.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and analyze business needs and gather requirements for applications integrated with business processes and IT infrastructure.
  • Support the Sales Operations team by recommending solutions or improvements to business processes.
  • Research business requirements, develop detailed specifications, and validate solutions with business partners.
  • Communicate needs to the development team by translating business requirements.
  • Assist in the development of tools, applications, reports, and analytics to enable strategic programs and metrics for the Sales/Account Management Teams.
  • Plan and execute business user acceptance testing and related test activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and work through resolutions, including root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Subject area or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role, preferably with operational process design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of gathering and documenting business requirements, process mapping methodologies, and project management.
  • Experience working in Salesforce and with an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Strong analytical skills, including problem solving and process improvement.
