About the position
Start a new career as a Bus Driver at Orchards of Minnetonka, an Assisted Living Facility! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents during transportation, while adhering to all established state laws and SilverCrest Bus policies. As a Bus Driver at SilverCrest, you will play a vital role in assisting residents on and off the bus - at the community and at their destinations. Collaborating with our Programming staff, you will help facilitate outings, activities and provide our residents with enjoyable experiences outside the facility. You will oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of the community's bus, diligently recording all maintenance records for future reference. This position's schedule is part-time hours, mid-morning to afternoon as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transportation.
- Adhere to all established state laws and SilverCrest Bus policies.
- Assist residents on and off the bus at the community and at their destinations.
- Collaborate with Programming staff to facilitate outings and activities.
- Oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of the community's bus.
- Record all maintenance records for future reference.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must have a valid Minnesota Drivers License - Class C with a clean driving record.
