Bus Assistant

About the position

The Bus Assistant assists the Bus Driver in transporting children safely on the school bus. The role ensures that children are transported in a healthy and educational environment and facilitates communication with staff and parents regarding the children's needs and center activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bus Driver in transporting children safely.
• Ensure a healthy and educational environment for children during transport.
• Facilitate communication with staff and parents about children's needs and activities.

Requirements

• No prior education or experience is required for this position.
• Must meet Oregon's Early Learning Division requirements for a Teacher Aide II within 6 months from date of hire.

Nice-to-haves

• Meets Oregon's Early Learning Division requirements for an Infant Toddler or Preschool Teacher.
